The Cold pressed Extra Virgin Rapeseed oil is from Fussels of Somerset (as seen on Dragon's Den) and the chillies are a mixture our dried Ring of Fire chillies grown here on the farm which are dried and then infused into the oil to give a superb balance.
The chilli oil is of medium heat and is perfect for cooking or roast spuds, batter puddings, stir frys or even drizzling over a salad.
Extra Virgin - Extra Virgin oil is the oil that comes from the very first pressing of the Rapeseed- it has the least impurities and the least amount of processing- no heat or other methods besides pressing was involved in obtaining the oil.
Cold Pressed - The best oils are cold pressed. The oil is obtained through pressing and grinding fruit or seeds with the use of heavy granite millstones or modern stainless steel presses, which are found in large commercial operations.
All our oils are Extra Virgin Cold pressed Rapeseed. They differ on heat & flavour but are the same base oil.
